3. Local Device Storage Architecture
All exam sessions, selected answers, timer bookmarks, question flags, rubric performance breakdowns, and user display preferences (dark theme, font scaling, audio alarms) are stored strictly on your local device via sandboxed application storage (localStorage / AsyncStorage).
This design ensures that your study history and mock exam scores remain confidential to you. No cloud servers, external databases, or analytics services receive your exam answers or score logs.
4. Third Parties & Advertising SDKs
CIH Exam Coach does not embed third-party advertising networks, commercial tracking pixels, session replay utilities, or cross-application behavioral marketing trackers.
If you download the application from Google Play, Google may collect platform-level telemetry (e.g., anonymized OS crash logs or Google Play Store download metrics) governed by Google's own Privacy Policy.
5. Children's Privacy
The application is a professional study preparation suite intended exclusively for adult candidates preparing for industrial hygiene certification. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13.
6. Data Retention and Deletion Mechanism
Because all progress, flagged items, and exam scores are stored locally in your device's sandboxed application storage:
- To clear your exam history: You can reset individual exam records inside the app's Settings menu, or clear application storage via your Android OS device settings (Settings > Apps > CIH Exam Coach > Storage > Clear Data).
- To delete all data: Simply uninstall the application from your device. All local records, preferences, and session data are erased immediately and permanently.
